From January 2019, South Glos Council will be replacing the street lights in Westerleigh Parish with more energy-efficient LED ones.

Ahead of that, they need to install some new lighting columns and remove some of the existing ones. This work will begin next Monday, 3 September. People living near the affected lights should have received a letter from the council. Officials promise to do their best to minimise disruption and no road closures will be required.

Frampton Cotterell Parish is currently scheduled to get LED lights in 2019/20 and Iron Acton, Rangeworthy and Tytherington Parishes in 2020/21.
