Thank you to everyone living in and around Tytherington who signed our petition calling on ministers to rethink their decision to reject the funding bid for the new Thornbury Health Centre.

Residents were outraged when the announcement was made in December, despite previous claims from the Conservative MP that he had made “significant progress”.

Last week Claire Young and other Focus Team campaigners took the fight for funding to London and submitted the petition signed by over 500 people at the Department for Health. It’s time the Government listened to local people and gave them the health services they deserve.
