The South Glos Mines Research Group are holding their latest talk, “Boy to Man in the Somerset Coalfield” by Bryn Hawkins, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 22nd January in the Miners (aka Coalpit Heath Village Hall). He will show rare film footage of the local mines along with many photos. Non-members are welcome at a cost of £2 for a ticket. Membership is £17.50 per year.
