GWR have made changes to their train service this Sunday (11th July) as a result of significant numbers of staff self-isolating following notification from test and trace.  Services will remain operational on all routes, but there will be some reductions.

The revised timetable has been entered into national journey planners and they are contacting customers who have booked to travel on affected services to make them aware.  They will be offering full refunds with no administration fees, or allowing customers to travel on alternative services immediately before or after their booked service. They are also expecting services to be busier than normal.

It is possible that there may need to be further short notice changes on Sunday.  If that happens they will update journey planners and they are recommending that customers check before they travel on www.gwr.com.
