Yate International Festival returns on Saturday 17th September.
Running from 10.30am to 4.30pm, it is an annual celebration of the many cultures in our area. Expect music and dance performances to get you on your feet – from West African Mundi dance and drums, Chinese folk dance, Dhol Drummers, Ukrainian dance, Hindu puppet theatre, and Irish traditional tunes, to activities including Chinese Calligraphy, Gujerati toys and games, sari dressing and a variety of crafts, activities and rides. Indulge in Indian and Caribbean food, and take a trip back in time with a visit to the historic St Mary’s Church.
