Happy 30th birthday to Green Community Travel

Last week Green Community Travel celebrated their 30th birthday. Previously called Yate, Sodbury and District Community Transport, they help people and groups who can’t use public transport to get around. They are currently looking for volunteer drivers. Gipsy Patch Lane roadworks

B4465 bridge closure

Old Gloucester Road closure in September

The stretch of Old Gloucester Road running 800m north east of the Swan Lane junction will close temporarily from 16 September so BT can carry out some work. The order is for up to 18 months but the closure is only expected to be necessary for 5 days.
