The first talk of 2019 organised by the Frampton Cotterell and District Local History Society will be by Sarah Harris on the Windmills of Somerset – covering “the rise and fall of the windmilling trade, the specific type of mill, together with the lives of the millers who worked with these remarkable machines”.

It will take place at 7.30pm on Wednesday 16 Jan at the Zion Church, Woodend Road, Frampton Cotterell BS36 2HY. All welcome, entry is £4, free to members who pay an annual £15 subscription. Light refreshments included.
