There is still time to have your say on the “Reserved Matters” application for Woodlands Farm. This is the application that adds all the detail about the development after outline permission was granted on appeal last year. This is about how the site is developed, not whether it should be developed as that has already been decided by the Planning Inspector.

The deadline for comments is 19th January – go to search planning applications page on the South Glos website and search using the reference number PT18/6313/RM. Westerleigh Parish Council will be discussing their response at their meeting on Monday.

Local people have expressed dismay that the developers are already taping off areas of the fields and blocking side entrances. Claire has checked with a council planning officer and once outline permission has been granted the developers can start preliminary work on the site – for example ecological work, drainage investigations and archaeological investigations.
