At Monday’s drop-in on the B4058 Rangeworthy/Bagstone drainage project officers explained that the survey work has thrown up quite a few unknowns. They were keen to gather local knowledge from the people attending and had annotations all over their plans. You can view the extent of the council’s drainage works and sign up for updates on the project web page.

Wessex Water were also there near the end to share their plans for pipe lining works at a number of locations on the same road from 8th April to 9th May. They will be writing to residents 2-3 weeks beforehand. Their work will be mainly on the verge rather than in the road and, thanks to some very impressive technology they showed off, will not require them to dig down to the pipes.
