When our latest Focus for the Nibley/Stover Road area went to press, we had been told that work would start on the extension to the Badminton Road council offices in May. This has now been moved to August, completing in October.

This is in response to the concerns of residents about disruption over the peak summer months. This way the construction avoids the peak holiday time but will still take place within dryer months to minimise disruption on the roads due to mud. Also, due to the exceptional temperatures we’ve had, birds may already be nesting.

Remedial works will start on the existing car park in July, but these are very minor in comparison – jet washing, some relaying of surfaces – and will finish by the end of July.
