Frampton Cotterell & District Local History Society are running a coach trip to Exeter and Powderham Castle on Saturday 22nd June.

After lunch and a stroll around the city centre there will a visit to Powderham Castle, which enjoys a unique, picturesque setting within an ancient deer park beside the Exe estuary, just south of Exeter. Over 600 years of history can be discovered within these walls of one of Devon’s oldest family homes.

This offer is open to everyone who would enjoy a day out.

The coach leaves from St Saviours Church at 8.30am, returning around 7pm, and costs £26 including entrance to the castle. A non-refundable deposit of £10 is needed as soon as possible, with the balance by next Friday. Cheques should be made payable to FC&DLHS.
