Today is Earth Day, 50 years on from the very first one held. It is happening in highly unusual circumstances but while attention is naturally on the pandemic, the climate emergency hasn’t gone away.

Last year Claire secured all party backing for a Climate Emergency declaration here in South Glos. Earlier this year a cross-party group presented a report to Cabinet. Now the Cabinet will be responding to the actions recommended in the report at their very first virtual meeting on Monday.
